About Fuller Village

Fuller Village, founded in 2000, is a not-for-profit, 90% refundable life lease, independent senior living community encompassing 60 acres with 318 residences located in Milton, MA.  Fuller Village in addition to our life lease deposit residences has a select number of one-bedroom rental residences.

Yes, with over 400 residents Fuller Village has a very active resident association.  The president of the resident association participates in the Board of Directors meetings held throughout the year.  The resident association is active in helping to plan programs and events including their annual community fair.

Pricing

Individuals who move to Fuller Village have paid a deposit and signed a life lease agreement stating when they are no longer residents, 90% of their deposit will be returned.

The life lease agreement is specific to the individual for the length of their residency.  The individual does not own their residence.  Once an individual moves out and a new life lease agreement is executed by another individual, Fuller Village will return 90% of the life lease deposit to the original resident or to a designated trust or family member.

The life lease deposit you paid will not increase in value.  Your agreement states when you are no longer a resident you will receive 90% of the life lease deposit you paid regardless of the length of time that you are a resident of Fuller Village.

Life leases cannot be mortgaged.

When Fuller Village offers you an apartment or villa home you are not obligated to accept.  You may decline and stay on the wait list for the next available apartment or villa home.

Individuals have 60 days from the date of reservation to pay the full life lease deposit.

The monthly service fee includes all maintenance inside and outside of your residence, landscaping, snow removal, property taxes, heat and hot water, emergency pull cords in all units, programming, activities, fitness, indoor heated pool, along with common operating expenses. Residents also receive a nominal dining benefit monthly for use in the Gordon House Dining Room. (Excludes alcohol).

Residents are responsible for electricity, telephone, cable TV & internet.  Villa home residents are also responsible for gas, water and sewer. All dining on property is resident responsibility beyond the Gordon House Dining Room nominal dining benefit included in the monthly service fee.

Fuller Village does have a wait list for the 90% refundable life lease deposit apartments and villas. To join the wait list requires completing a one-page form and submitting it with a fee of $3,000. The wait list fee is fully refundable if you elect to remove your name from the wait list or it is applied to your 90% refundable life lease deposit should you reserve an apartment or villa home.

Yes, you can select up to three different choices of housing. Single-level apartments, villa duplex home or rental apartment.

Residences

Residents are welcome at their expense to personalize their residence.  Examples of personalization’s include painting, hanging artwork, selecting flooring, custom closets and adding recessed lighting.

Fuller Village refurbishes all apartments and villa homes for the next resident.  This includes painting, updating heating and electrical systems, LED lighting and ensuring appliances are in good working order.  Apartments are furnished with white cabinetry, quartz counter tops and stainless kitchen steel appliances and washer and dryer.  Residents can select their living/dining and bedroom flooring.

Fuller Village is responsible for all the supplied appliances in your residence, these include refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher and washer and dryer.  Fuller Village will repair all appliances and if needed replace.

Yes, every apartment and villa home have an emergency pull cord in all rooms including the kitchen and bathroom.

Residents are welcome to hire a housekeeper to assist with cleaning their residents.  Fuller Village’s preferred provider, Best of Care, can provide housekeeping services should you need them.

Residents who have a pet when they move to Fuller Village are welcome to bring their pet if their pet meets Fuller Village’s Pet Policy criteria and requirements. Fuller Village does have a pet policy that all residents need to review and sign as part of their move-in paperwork.

Transportation & Dining

Yes, residents are welcome to bring a vehicle to Fuller Village.  There is no additional charge for parking.

Fuller Village’s transportation includes trips to Beth Israel Milton Hospital and area grocery stores three days a week.

No, Fuller Village does not require residents that are part of the life-lease purchase homes  to take a meal plan.  All dining is a la carte.  Fuller Village has a café open for lunch Monday – Saturday and a dining room open for dinner daily.

Amenities

No, use of the indoor heated pool and all fitness center programs and activities are included in a resident’s monthly service fee.

Fuller Village offers a monthly calendar of events and programs.  The majority of these are included in your monthly service fee.  Programs not included in the monthly service fee would be programs that take place off campus or require materials as part of the program.

Fuller Village’s campus is 60 acres so there is plenty of space for residents to enjoy the outdoors.  Residents can choose to play tennis, pickleball, garden, or sit on one of the many benches throughout the property to enjoy the beautiful and well-maintained grounds.

Friends & Family

Yes, residents are welcome to have family and friends stay overnight with them.  Fuller Village also has a guest suite available for nightly charge.

Yes, residents are welcome to have guests in the Brush Hill Café, Monday through Saturday for lunch or in the Gordon House Dining Room for dinner each evening. Reservations are needed for Gordon House.

Yes, Fuller Village loves to have grandchildren visit.  At holiday and school vacation times, the program director will often include a program that is geared towards grandchildren.

Yes, Fuller Village has dedicated days/times for guests and family members including children to swim at the indoor heated pool.

Wellness

Fuller Village’s onsite preferred provider, Best of Care, is available for residents needing additional support and care for either short or long term.  Residents will work with Best of Care directly to implement the care and services they need.  Residents are also welcome to use other home care providers of their choice.
